In this video, I share my experience cycling with the Lonely Hearts Cycling Club here in New York City. They are a combined race team and cycling club with a number of strong riders with great attitudes that I can’t even count on my fingers.

Cycling is all about aerodynamics,  you can save so much wattage and energy just by sitting at the back.  I’ve got club riders pulling me up Harlem Hill one of my starve segments. So not doing much work.

But in a rotating paceline its the best way a group of cyclist can combine their efforts to slice through the wind by each rider having a crack at riding off the front with their best effort before recovering by switching in the back to recover.

Recover is important. You want to make sure that you have enough gas in your tank so that you don’t get droped.

Make sure you have a reserve,  and have a great ride.
